You confused me a bit with the PDF...I was wondering if the story was so short it only contained the title and your name 
I normally don't read stories online, but I promised that I would read every submission to the group - and I am glad that I read this!
It was full of pure gems, my favourite being "As the alarm whined like a chorus of tortured souls"
